The Occupancy Rate of the Quotas at AHSU is 100%

According to the 2019 Higher Education Institutions Exam results, all quotas have been filled. Our Rector Prof. Dr. Nurullah Okumuş congratulated all students and their families who chose AFSU. Of the 1863 students who were eligible to enroll in AFSU, 806 of them chose “University of Health” as one of their top five choices.

While 240 of the students who won our university placed AFSU in the first place in their preferences, 148 students said “AFSU” as the second choice and 157 students as the third choice.

 There are 25 top high school students among the students who want to study in AFSU which is one of the most preferred universities by the conscious and successful students.

Our Rector Prof. Dr. Nurullah Okumuş, told that AFSU continues its development with firm steps, with its experienced academic staff, staff and students, and student-oriented management, by aiming to gain a pioneering position in health-themed higher education and to stand out in the academic community with an understanding based on research in the production of scientific knowledge,

Prof. Dr. Okumuş said that “We congratulate all the students and their families who prefer AFSU, which continues its studies with determination in line with the goal of becoming the most preferred Health Sciences University by the successful and high-potential students of our country in the university placement exams in the coming years.”

Residence of New Students Mainly Aegean and Central Anatolia

According to the top 10 ranking students’ city of residence list, settled in AFSU, following Afyonkarahisar, which ranks first with 358 people, 156 students come from Konya, Antalya with 117 students and İzmir with 103 students. Ankara is in the fifth place with 94 students, followed by Kütahya with 86 students, Manisa and Bursa with 78 students, Eskişehir with 71 students and Denizli with 60 students.

This year, the high schools from which our 1322 female and 541 male students graduated, vary greatly. 773 students who have achieved the goal of studying at AFSU are graduates of Anatolian High School, 532 students of Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School or Private Anatolian Vocational Program, and 162 students are graduates of Science High School. There are 164 students graduated from Private Basic High School or High School Program, 99 graduated from Anatolian Health and Health Vocational High School, 69 graduated from Anatolian Islamic Divinity High School, and 17 graduated from Anatolian Teacher High School.

721 of our 1863 new students have graduated from high school this year, 791 students graduated in 2018, 193 students in 2017, 34 students in 2016, and 21

students in 2015. The remaining 103 students graduated from high school in 2014 and before.

While the oldest of the students was born in 1976, there are 29 students born in 2002. 672 students were born in 2001, 764 students were born in 2000, 247 students were born in 1999, 60 students were born in 1998, and 24 students were born in 1997.
