AHSU Turkish Patent Information and Documentation Unit (TPBD) was established with the protocol signed between Afyonkarahisar Health Sciences University (AHSU) and Turkish Patent and Trademark Office (TÜRKPATENT). On behalf of our university, our Rector Prof. Dr. Nurullah Okumuş, and on behalf of Turkish Patent and Trademark Office, President of the Institution Prof. Dr. Habip Asan signed it.
The activities of our new unit, which will provide information and support to academicians, university students and entrepreneurs on industrial rights, will be carried out by AHSU Technology Transfer Office (TTO) Deputy Coordinator Lecturer Emre Semiz. It is aimed that AHSU TPBD will make significant contributions to the creation of an innovative culture in Afyonkarahisar and our university, to support branding efforts, to produce high value-added inventions and designs.
Support from AHSU for Those Who Say I Have an Idea
Thanks to AHSU TPBD, which is a part of the works carried out at our university on the effective protection of intellectual and industrial rights, our academic staff, students and entrepreneurs will be able to access all kinds of information and documents regarding industrial property rights, relevant national and international legislation and publications with expert support.
In addition to AHSU staff and students, individuals, institutions and organizations, industrialists and traders who are engaged in research and development will also be able to receive support on industrial rights by meeting with AHSU TPBD. The unit office in the Rectorate building can be visited to get detailed information about the work of AHSU TPBD, which will provide support to the relevant people in creating a suitable environment for research in patent databases.
