Bolvadin Health Services Vocational School Students Listened to the Experiences of Businesswomen in the Open Class

AHSU Bolvadin Health Services Vocational School (SHMYO) students met with businesswomen in the online Entrepreneurship course. Afyonkarahisar Business Women Association (AFIKAD) managers talked about the working experiences of AFSÜ Bolvadin SHMYO Medical Documentation and Secretariat program students in the Entrepreneurship course.

AFIKAD President Samiye Hancıoğlu, Vice President Emine Şapçı, Board Members Sibel Şemşimoğlu, Şükriye Nizamoğlu, Nimet Can Balkan, Huriye Mazi, Ayşe Kocaçay, Yasemin Bor and Selime Sömer Balkan attended the open lecture held under the coordination of Lecturer Murat Şen.

AFIKAD managers shared their inspiring entrepreneurship and success stories with the students in the open lesson, which started with the information that Lecturer Şen gave about the participation of women in social and economic production processes in Turks and Anatolia throughout history. Businesswomen also gave information about the outcomes of the social projects, I am Aware of My Power – I’m at My Work, supported by Dreamy m-learning supported by the EU, Mother and Child at Work, and the Sabanci Foundation.

Indicating that the subject to be covered in the entrepreneurship course is female entrepreneurship and the majority of the students taking the course are female students, Lecturer Şen said that the lesson, which lasted about three hours, ended with the expression of the common wish for a new event to discuss specific examples of entrepreneurship.
