Our Academics Went to the University of Rijeka in Croatia

The first staff mobility took place between our university and the University of Rijeka in Croatia within the scope of the Erasmus+ Exchange Program.

AFSU Şuhut Health Services Vocational School First and Emergency Aid Program Instructor Dr. Merve Şen,  was at the university for a week at the invitation of Prof. Dr. Maja Abram, Head of the Department of Medical Microbiology, Rijeka University Faculty of Medicine; Atatürk Health Services Vocational School Medical Laboratory Techniques Program Instructor Serkan Şen was at the university for a week at the invitation of Prof. Dr. Robert Domitrovic, Head of the Department of Medical Biochemistry.

Taking part in Microbiology practical courses with the faculty members of the Faculty of Medicine of Rijeka University, Instructor Dr. Merve Şen conducted research on experimental infection models at the Biosafety Level-2 Experimental Animal Research Center, which is planned to be established in our university. Instructor Serkan Şen, on the other hand, made a presentation for the faculty members and researchers of the Department of Medical Biochemistry, in which the research laboratories of AFSU were introduced.
