Orientation Training was held for our new students enrolled in the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics. In the training program, Lecturer Rumeysa Balı explained the history and the academic and administrative structure of both the faculty and the department. She made explanations about the department’s curriculum, laboratories and practice areas, the institutions and organizations where dietitians work, and the legislation to which the students are bound.
Ayberk Zengin, the Head of the Library and Documentation Department, made a presentation on the use of library services whereas the Head of Health, Culture and Sports (SKS) Filiz Özden Yılmaz talked about the social, sports, and cultural activities of our university and conveyed the information on SKS and the activities of student clubs and societies.
In the following weeks, the Department of Student Affairs, Distance Education Application and Research Center, Career and Entrepreneurship Application and Research Center, AFSU Nutrition Club, and Turkish Dietitians Association will continue with their presentations.
