Seven projects to be carried out by the students of the Faculty of Pharmacy of our university were accepted within the scope of the 2022/1 term “2209-A University Students Research Projects Support Program” carried out by the TÜBİTAK Scientist Support Programs Presidency.
“Ononis Spinosa Subsp. With the project titled “A Phytochemical Study on Leiosperma Plant”, the project titled “Determination of the Effect of Different Extraction Techniques on the Phytochemical Content of Onosma Erzincanica Plant”, directed by Aslı İnce and contributed by Sümeyra Şık as a project partner, was carried out by Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy Prof. Dr. Cengiz Sarıkürkcü.
The project, titled “Obtaining Solid Lipid Nanoparticles (CLN) Using Cistus Creticus Plant Extracts and Investigation of Their Antimicrobial Activities”, under the leadership of Şerife Nur Durmuş and Saniye Özdemir as a project partner, was carried out by Deputy Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy Prof. Dr. Sevim Feyza Erdoğmuş.
“Development and Analytical Application of Molecular Imprinted Polymer-Based Nanosensors for the Determination of Nepafenak Active Substance”, project led by Ömer Faruk Tekin and to which Esra Koçal will contribute as the project partner, will be led by İrem Dinçer and Muhammet Melik Erdoğan. Counselor of the projects titled “Development of Polymer-Based Nanosensors for the Determination of Rifaximin” and “Investigation of the Photocatalytic Potential of ZnO Films Produced by Ultrasonic Chemical Spray Technique in Pesticide Removal”, which will be led by Sena Nur Özdemir as a project partner, will be made by Assoc. Dr. Ersin Demir.
Zehra İrem Dede is the project manager and Sema Nur Aydoğan will contribute as a project partner, and the project titled “The Effect of Curcumin and Piperine Application on the mRNA Expression Level of Grp78 and Casp12 Genes from the Endoplasmic Reticulum Stress Markers in the A549 Cell Series” was provided by the Department of Basic Pharmacy Sciences. Dr. Instructor Member Nilay Isitez will take over.
