AFSU Became a Member of Turkish Universities Association

Our university was accepted as a union member at the General Assembly of the Organization of Turkish States, Turkish Universities Union (TÜRKÜNİB) held in Turkistan, Kazakhstan.

Hosted by Ahmet Yesevi University; At the 6th General Assembly of TÜRKÜNİB, attended by more than fifty managers and representatives of higher education institutions from Turkey, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan and Hungary, our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Adem Aslan and Erasmus+ Institutional Coordinator Lect.  Cemile Terzier represented our university.

Stating that four protocols were signed with the member universities of the Union, covering student and personnel exchange and various joint academic studies, Prof. Dr. Aslan also noted that the “Turkish World Cultural Community” was established within AFSU in order to develop the cultural bond between students belonging to Turkish speaking peoples. Prof. Dr. Aslan said that AFSU is committed to actively participating and contributing to the next meetings of TÜRKÜNİB.
