Prof. Dr. Cengiz Sarıkürkcü, the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, has been included in the “World’s Most Influential Scientists List” based on research conducted by Stanford University, which evaluated over 200,000 scientists.
Published in the Elsevier database and compiled by a team that includes scientists from the Netherlands, the list features scientists from around the world in 22 main disciplines and 176 sub-disciplines based on indicators such as “number of quality publications,” “citations to publications,” “h-index,” and “hm-index” for the year 2022. The researchers who ranked in the top 2% in the success ranking were determined as “World Top % 2 Scientists List.”
The ranking is divided into two categories: “Career-long Impact” and “Annual Impact.” Prof. Dr. Sarıkürkcü, like in the years 2019, 2020, and 2021, has once again earned a place in the ranking for both “Career-long Impact” and “Annual Impact” categories for the year 2022.
